The Supply Chain must work at its fair value: its level of performance must be aligned with the maturity and the challenges of the business, neither beyond because the length of a return on investment will penalize the profitability of the company, nor below because this increases the risk of loss of competitiveness and overall performance.
Cooperation
Covering people’s trades, the Supply Chain depends directly on internal and external actors and indirectly (but also strongly) on other internal functions such as sales, marketing, R&D, production, purchasing. Clearly, this is a service provided internally and whose beneficiaries, if they measure the costs, do not always measure the issues, especially outside their own perimeter.
